A broker aggregator has taken its education programming to the next level by providing technology-focused training sessions to its brokers.

Working alongside NextGen, outsource Financial has created three complimentary mentor programs, including a new entrant mentoring program, to equip new brokers with fundamental  knowledge on how to use ApplyOnline tools and features to boost efficiencies as they build their businesses.

“We [NextGen] are delighted to be partnering with outsource Financial on their new entrant mentoring program,” said Renee Blethyn, head of broker partnerships at NextGen. “outsource Financial has a real commitment to educate, empower, and provide guidance to their brokers.”

Blethyn said NextGen invests heavily in training to help users maximise the benefits of ApplyOnline.

“This mentoring program helps a broker get up to speed with technology platforms like ApplyOnline and gets them to the point where they are processing loans and earning an income,” she said. “As we look to introduce further enhancements to the platform in the coming months, this program will ensure that ApplyOnline users are ready to maximise these enhancements as soon as they become available.”

Heather Gallagher, head of training and education at outsource Financial, said the fundamental training in technology tools like ApplyOnline is key to the career development and brokers’ success.

“Brokers are always keen to learn, and so it’s critical that outsource Financial has a strong relationship with NextGen,” Gallagher said. “Incorporating ApplyOnline training into our new broker mentoring program allows brokers to gain knowledge and insights into new tools and features that will save them time and energy. With the new sessions set to take place monthly within the program, the demand for knowledge of best practice tools is more evident now than ever.”

Blethyn said that in this industry where change happens quite frequently, the online training sessions enable brokers to not only learn about upcoming ApplyOnline features but also “collaborate with other brokers, bounce ideas off each other, and learn time-saving tips that help them achieve a faster time to ‘yes’.”
